Caring Brands Expands Photocil and Hair Enzyme Booster Licensing to LATAM, Russia and ANZ
CABR•Effective May 21, 2026, Caring Brands extended its multi-territory licensing agreement with SanPellegrino Cosmetics to a five-year initial term with automatic annual renewal across India, LATAM (seven countries), Russia, Australia and New Zealand. Both patented topical formulations have shown strong commercial traction through sublicensees in India and Asia.
1. Expanded Licensing Deal
In May 2026, Caring Brands and SanPellegrino Cosmetics executed a revised five-year multi-territory licensing agreement for Photocil and Hair Enzyme Booster, featuring an automatic annual renewal. The expansion adds LATAM (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago), Russia, and ANZ to the existing Indian market.
2. Products Overview
Photocil is a patented topical formulation for vitiligo, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, commercialized as Photofirst in India and validated clinically. Hair Enzyme Booster is a first-of-its-kind patented topical technology that enhances SULT1A1 enzyme levels to convert Minoxidil into its active form, promoting hair growth.
3. Market and Partner Footprint
SCPL’s sublicense network includes Eris Lifesciences in India and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals across Asia and the Middle East, with ongoing registrations in Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The expanded agreement leverages this established commercialization infrastructure to reach over 13 new markets.
