Cheniere Energy Schedules Q4, Full-Year 2025 Results and February 26 Call

Cheniere Energy will release its fourth quarter and full-year 2025 financial results on February 26, 2026 before market open, followed by an investor conference call at 11:00 a.m. ET. The call and slide presentation will be webcast on Cheniere’s website, with a replay available post-webcast.

1. Full Restart of Mozambique LNG Activities

TotalEnergies and the Government of Mozambique have officially lifted the Force Majeure declared in 2021 and resumed all onshore and offshore activities at the Afungi site. Over 4,000 workers are currently mobilized, including more than 3,000 Mozambican nationals. Key engineering and procurement phases were completed during the suspension period, enabling the project to reach 40% overall progress.

2. Economic Impact and Local Content Commitments

The project is expected to create up to 7,000 direct construction jobs for Mozambicans and award more than USD 4 billion in contracts to local companies. The Mozambique LNG Foundation, endowed with USD 200 million, has already supported over 8,000 jobs and provided assistance to 7,000 farmers and fishermen in Cabo Delgado province through its socio-economic development programs.

3. Timeline and Project Partnership Structure

First liquefied natural gas is targeted for delivery in 2029. Mozambique LNG is a joint venture led by TotalEnergies EP Mozambique Area 1 (26.5%) alongside Mitsui E&P (20%), ENH Rovuma (15%), ONGC Videsh (10%), Beas Rovuma Energy (10%), BPRL Ventures (10%) and PTTEP (8.5%). Continued government support includes security measures and institutional cooperation to safeguard project progress.
