Cheniere's Corpus Christi LNG plant appears to return to full output after maintenance, data show

Cheniere Energy's LNG.N Corpus Christi liquefied natural gas export plant in Texas appeared to be returning to full production on Wednesday after undergoing planned maintenance, as natural gas nominations to the facility rose to about 2.5 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd), according to preliminary data from financial firm LSEG.

• Gas deliveries to the plant rose to about 2.5 bcfd on Wednesday, the highest level in 10 days.
• Cheniere confirmed on Monday that the plant, the third-largest LNG export facility in the U.S., was undergoing planned maintenance.
• The increase in feedgas flows to Corpus Christi boosted gas demand for U.S. LNG export plants, with total feedgas deliveries on track to reach 17.3 bcfd on Wednesday, the highest level in more than a week, LSEG data showed.
• The U.S. is the world's largest LNG exporter, and global gas markets have been contending with reduced LNG supplies following disruptions tied to the war in Iran.
