China’s market regulator unconditionally approved Geely’s acquisition of 34% of Ford Motor’s Spanish subsidiary, Ford España. Geely and Ford said in July that Geely would build two electric SUVs at Ford’s Valencia factory and that they would develop a vehicle through a joint venture, which will be 66% owned by Ford and 34% by Geely.
