CJ Cheiljedang signs joint venture deal with ADM for global feed amino acids business
ADM•CJ Cheiljedang signed an agreement with ADM to form a U.S. joint venture for global feed amino acids, with CJ Bio America holding 63% and ADM 37%. The deal, signed Oct. 2, 2026, is subject to regulatory approvals.
1. Joint venture structure
The agreement moves CJ’s feed amino acid operations, including its Mexico and Brazil units, into the new venture through in-kind contributions. The companies said the structure targets stronger competitiveness in feed amino acids and more stable raw material sourcing.
