Comcast expanded Xfinity residential service, extending high-speed internet access to more than 2,800 homes and businesses in Glades County, Florida.
The buildout reached more than 2,100 locations that previously lacked broadband access, targeting rural communities including Lakeport, Moore Haven and Ortona.
The project was funded through a public-private partnership with the state, broadening Comcast’s Florida network footprint.
The expansion adds Comcast Business internet availability in the county, positioning the operator for incremental small-business and public-sector demand.
