Copel's 4Q25 Recurring EBITDA Increases 16.1% to R$1.36 Billion

Copel recorded recurring EBITDA of R$1,358.1 million in 4Q25, a 16.1% increase from 4Q24, driven by stronger asset performance and efficient operations. Genco's EBITDA rose 24.3% to R$654.2 million aided by grid availability revenue, lower manageable costs, and favorable short-term market transactions.

1. Recurring EBITDA Growth

Copel reported recurring EBITDA for 4Q25 of R$1,358.1 million, up 16.1% from R$1,169.6 million in 4Q24, reflecting robust asset performance and efficient operations with DisCo contributing 53.6% and GenCo and TradeCo 48.4%.

2. GenCo Segment Performance

GenCo’s EBITDA grew 24.3% to R$654.2 million, driven by R$102.7 million from grid availability revenue including the new Mata de Santa Genebra asset, a R$86.1 million reduction in PMSO costs, R$34.9 million from short-term market gains, and R$10.8 million savings in grid usage charges.

3. Elejor and TradeCo Results

Elejor’s EBITDA increased by R$23.6 million due to higher energy volumes and prices in bilateral contracts, while TradeCo’s EBITDA rose by R$18.8 million on a 69.7% surge in bilateral energy sales and strategic mitigation of intermittent generation contract effects.
