Copper Fox completed bench-scale metallurgical testing on Schaft Creek core and achieved 87.2% copper recovery and 74.1% gold recovery in standard flotation tests, exceeding initial targets and industry benchmarks.
2. 2026 Program Details
The 2026 program will include 15,000 meters of infill drilling to upgrade resource classification, pilot plant flotation and bulk sample testing, and feasibility studies, backed by a $5 million budget.
3. Impact on Teck Earn-In Option
Under its joint venture arrangement, Teck can earn up to 75% of Schaft Creek by funding project milestones; these positive metallurgical results and clear 2026 plan de-risk the project for Teck’s earn-in decision.
