CoreWeave Launches Two Stockholm AI Campuses Powered by Nvidia Blackwell
NVDA•CoreWeave signed a co-location deal with Conapto to open two renewable-powered AI campuses in Stockholm, with initial capacity live at Stockholm 4 South using Nvidia’s Blackwell and Vera Rubin platforms. The deal raises CoreWeave’s global data center count to 49, its European footprint to eight sites, and its contracted power above 3.5 GW.
1. Deal Structure and Locations
CoreWeave has signed a multi-year co-location agreement with Swedish green data center operator Conapto to develop two renewable-energy-powered AI campuses in Stockholm. Initial capacity is already operational at the Stockholm 4 South site, with the second campus set to go live later this year.
2. Nvidia Technology Implementation
Both Stockholm sites will integrate Nvidia’s Blackwell GPU architecture and Vera Rubin AI platforms, connected via Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand. This configuration is designed to support high-performance workloads for AI labs, enterprises and developers across Europe.
3. Capacity and Footprint Growth
As of March 31, CoreWeave operated 49 data centers worldwide with over 1 GW of active power and more than 3.5 GW of contracted power. The Stockholm deal increases its European presence to eight sites, strengthening its ability to meet rising AI compute demand.
