Corteva will separate its advanced seed and genetics business into a new entity named Vylor in the fourth quarter of 2026. The brand name, derived from 'valor,' reflects a century-long heritage and the ambition to leverage genetics for agricultural advancement.

Vylor will launch with more than 4,000 germplasm patents and over 2,000 biotechnology patents. Its pipeline includes proprietary hybrid wheat, gene-edited trait leadership, multi-disease resistant corn and next-generation biofuels aimed at driving future growth.

The new company inherits the world’s largest seed production network, industry-record corn and soybean yields and leading route-to-market capabilities. Its constituent brands currently hold number one or two market share positions in key crops across nearly every region.

Future Vylor CEO Chuck Magro emphasizes a mission to feed and fuel a growing population through science-driven agriculture. The company will leverage elite germplasm, transformative biotechnology and a robust product portfolio to explore new row crops and expand beyond traditional markets.
