Cosmos Health is introducing a veterinary formulation of C-Scrub Wash 4%, marking its first entry into the $68.7 billion global animal health sector. The launch will begin in the United Kingdom where the human-use version is already established, with further international rollouts planned.
The veterinary formulation underwent independent testing under EN 1656:2019 and EN 1657:2024 in May 2026, conducted under clean conditions at 20°C with a 10-minute contact time. It achieved ≥5 log reduction against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus hauseri and Enterococcus hirae at both 80% and 50% concentrations, and ≥4 log reduction against Candida albicans at both concentrations.
Cosmos Health will leverage existing manufacturing infrastructure from its subsidiary Cana Laboratories S.A. and established brand equity of C-Scrub in the UK veterinary market. Broader expansion is targeted for Europe, Asia and North America using the company’s global distribution network.
C-Scrub Wash 4% contains 4% chlorhexidine digluconate and is already commercialized for human healthcare. Cosmos Health is a vertically integrated global healthcare group with a portfolio of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and biocide brands, EU GMP manufacturing, R&D partnerships and telehealth services.
