CPI Aero wins $15 million airborne pod contract from undisclosed customer

CPI Aerostructures won a fully definitized $15 million contract for airborne pods from an undisclosed customer.
The total funded value for the customer’s airborne pod program rose to $43.5 million, covering 90 pods ordered to date.
Work includes tooling, parts procurement, pod assembly and integration, and testing; deliveries run through 2028.
