DigitalBridge opened a Tokyo office to expand its Japan digital infrastructure platform.
Soichiro Suda, who joined in January 2026, will lead Japan investment origination, execution, portfolio support, and local partner coverage.
DigitalBridge said its Japan platform spans data centers, towers, and connectivity. The company also pointed to the June 2026 launch of NGI with JEXI, anchored by NEC data center assets.
Management cited rising Japan demand tied to AI, cloud adoption, and connectivity investment.
The government strategy targets JPY 101.6 trillion in combined public-private AI and semiconductor investment through 2040.
