DISA Grants IL5, IL6 Accreditation for Palantir PFCS Forward On-Premises and Edge

PLTRPLTR

Palantir’s PFCS Forward has secured DISA authorization extending IL5 and IL6 accreditations to on-premises and edge deployments, enabling Apollo, Gotham, Foundry, AIP and Rubix on customer-chosen hardware. This hardware-agnostic “authorize once, use many” model cuts authorization-to-operate timelines, accelerating U.S. defense deployments at enterprise and tactical edge.

1. DISA Extends IL5/IL6 Accreditation

On February 12, 2026, the Defense Information Systems Agency authorized Palantir’s Federal Cloud Service (PFCS) Forward for both Impact Level 5 and 6 Provisional Authorizations, now covering on-premises and edge deployments. This extension brings Palantir’s entire technology stack—including Apollo, Gotham, Foundry, AIP and Rubix—under a single accreditation framework.

2. Hardware-Agnostic Deployment Model

PFCS Forward introduces an “authorize once, use many” approach that allows U.S. Government customers to deploy Palantir platforms on any approved hardware, from large-scale data centers to survivable edge devices. This multivendor architecture support simplifies integration and reduces the need for site-specific security assessments.

3. Accelerated Authorization to Operate

The offering provides a pre-certified eMASS record and provisional Authorization to Operate package that each customer inherits, eliminating repetitive documentation and assessments. By slashing deployment lead times, PFCS Forward enables mission-critical workloads to go live faster and supports accelerated procurement cycles.
