DOE Sells Venezuelan Oil at 30% Premium in $500M Deal, Plans $100B Investments
The U.S. DOE completed a $500 million sale of Venezuelan crude at roughly 30% higher prices than three weeks earlier, Energy Secretary Chris Wright said. President Trump said sales will continue indefinitely while U.S. majors like Chevron and ExxonMobil plan up to $100 billion in Venezuelan energy investments.
