1. Hedge Fund Liquidates MongoDB Position

In the fourth quarter of 2025 Duquesne Family Office closed out its entire position in MongoDB amid a broader shift away from high-growth technology names. This liquidation freed up capital that was redirected into new macro and value-oriented investments.

2. Major Brazil ETF and Options Purchase

The firm committed roughly $113 million to acquire 3.55 million shares of the iShares MSCI Brazil ETF and added call options to amplify returns. The ETF has already surged about 20% year-to-date, indicating confidence in further upside for Brazilian equities.

3. Reallocating into Value and Diversification

To rebalance risk, Duquesne also trimmed stakes in Meta Platforms, Arm Holdings and SanDisk while boosting Alphabet by 277%. Additional allocations included positions in the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF and a $300 million investment in the Financial Select Sector ETF, underscoring a move toward value-driven, geographically diversified assets.
