Dynatrace will pursue FedRAMP High authorization and expand its security framework to meet controls required by defense and federal agencies handling high-impact data. This initiative aims to unlock additional government contracts and broaden its addressable market in the U.S. public sector.
Dynatrace has announced plans to initiate the FedRAMP High certification process, aiming to satisfy the stringent security controls required for U.S. defense and civilian agencies that handle high-impact data. This builds on its existing FedRAMP Moderate compliance for lower-impact workloads.
The High-level certification will require Dynatrace to deploy additional encryption methods, continuous monitoring capabilities and personnel vetting processes above current standards to ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability across government cloud environments.
Achieving FedRAMP High status could enable Dynatrace to compete for Department of Defense contracts and high-impact federal programs, potentially increasing its addressable government revenue base and diversifying its customer portfolio.
Dynatrace plans to file its High-level authorization package by the end of 2026, with the review process expected to span six to twelve months before receiving approval and enabling service delivery to new government agencies.
