ECARX terminated an investor’s right to purchase up to US$100 million of additional convertible notes under an October 12, 2026 agreement. The investor will receive a one-time cash fee of US$10 million by October 26, 2026, and no further notes will be issued. CFO Dylan Jeng called the termination a strategic decision to limit shareholder dilution and simplify the capital structure, saying funding from institutional noteholders and banking partners makes the one-time cost beneficial to shareholders over the long term.
