Eco Wave Power welcomes Israeli blue-tech energy program investing NIS 6 million in marine renewables
WAVE•Israeli blue-tech program to support marine renewables
Eco Wave Power welcomed an Israeli government Blue-Tech energy initiative that earmarks NIS 6 million to advance marine renewable energy innovation.
The program targets wave-energy deployment, offshore systems and AI-driven marine energy management, supporting commercialization of next-generation clean power technologies.
Eco Wave Power operates Israel’s only grid-connected wave-energy station at Jaffa Port, exporting electricity under a power purchase agreement with Israel Electric Corporation.
The Jaffa Port station reported zero downtime since early 2025, positioning the project as a reference site for scaling onshore wave-energy systems.
The company also highlighted integration of AI and digital twin tools to optimize output and predictive maintenance, aligning with the initiative’s intelligent energy focus.
