Edible Garden Taps Structura to Develop Iowa Tetra Pak RTD Beverage Facility
EDBL•Edible Garden has engaged Structura Architects to support design and development of its Prairie Hills Tetra Pak production facility in Webster City, Iowa. The facility will use advanced Tetra Pak processing for large-scale shelf-stable nutritional beverages and is designed for private-label scalability to drive the company’s clean-label RTD expansion.
1. Structura Engagement
Edible Garden has contracted Structura Architects to lead facility planning, engineering, design and project development for its Prairie Hills Tetra Pak production site in Webster City, Iowa. Structura’s track record in dairy, beverage processing and packaging projects is expected to streamline construction and equipment integration phases.
2. Facility Design and Capacity
The Webster City facility will deploy advanced Tetra Pak processing and packaging technologies to produce shelf-stable nutritional and ready-to-drink beverages at large scale. Its modular layout supports initial private-label volumes and allows for rapid expansion across additional product lines.
3. Strategic Expansion
This project underpins Edible Garden’s Farm-to-Formula strategy by extending its clean-label RTD beverage portfolio into higher-margin, shelf-stable categories. The facility is designed for operational efficiency and sustainability, aiming to optimize supply chain logistics and minimize environmental impact.
