Elixir Completes 225km Teelba 2D Seismic Survey Adjacent to Shell’s Permit

SHELSHEL

Elixir completed a 225km high-resolution Teelba 2D seismic survey at ATP2057, acquiring 205.4km within the permit and 19.3km of tie-lines. The data covers the same Permian reservoir package as the Lorelle-3/3H well directly south of Shell’s primary Taroom Trough permit and will support new contingent gas-condensate resource estimates.

1. Survey Completion and Data Acquisition

Elixir Energy finished its Teelba 2D seismic survey at ATP2057 on schedule and budget, acquiring 225km of modern high-resolution data, including 205.4km within the permit and 19.3km of tie-lines to image subsurface structures.

2. Geological Correlation with Lorelle-3/3H

The acquired data targets the Permian hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir package encountered at the Lorelle-3/3H well, with initial interpretations confirming earlier seismic models and supporting future geosteering and reservoir delineation.

3. Relevance to Shell’s Permit Area

The survey area lies directly south of Shell’s main Taroom Trough permit, offering new subsurface insights that could inform Shell’s exploration and resource assessment in adjacent acreage.

4. Data Processing and Timeline

Total Seismic has commenced processing of the 2D volumes, with all lines expected to be processed within six weeks and selected lines prioritized to aid contingent resource estimation and booking.
