Ericsson names Christophe Van de Weyer to lead Global Communications Platform, succeed Heuveldop at Vonage

Ericsson appointed Christophe Van de Weyer as Head of Business Area Global Communications Platform, CEO of Vonage, and member of the Executive Team.
Van de Weyer joined Vonage in 2025; previously he was CEO of Telesign, held senior roles at Proximus, and was a partner at Bain & Company.
Niklas Heuveldop will step down from both roles effective Aug. 15, 2026; he has served on Ericsson’s Executive Team since 2016.
