Daniel Shapiro, who launched the $9 million brand Fourlaps, has been named vice president and divisional merchandise manager of men’s and young men’s at JCPenney. Former Gap execs Heather Archibald and Adrienne Gernand join Vuori and Kendra Scott in C-suite product and business roles.

1. Daniel Shapiro Joins JCPenney

Daniel Shapiro has been appointed vice president and divisional merchandise manager of men’s and young men’s at JCPenney. He reports to Jo Osbourne and brings experience from Gap’s outlet division, senior merchandising roles at Old Navy and American Eagle Outfitters, and the founding of Fourlaps, a $9 million performance apparel brand he sold in 2024.

2. Heather Archibald Named Vuori Chief Product Officer

Heather Archibald joined Vuori as Chief Product Officer, overseeing design, merchandising and sourcing strategy. Archibald previously served as chief product and merchandising officer at Rothy’s and held merchandising leadership roles at Title Nine, Restoration Hardware and Gap.

3. Adrienne Gernand Takes CBO Role at Kendra Scott

Adrienne Gernand was appointed Chief Business Officer at Kendra Scott, tasked with strategic category expansion and scalability. Gernand led international expansion and wholesale licensing initiatives during her tenure at Gap.

4. Additional Executive Appointments in Apparel Sector

Fran Dunaway reclaimed the presidency of Tomboyx following an ownership restructuring, Amanda Calder-McLaren became senior director of marketing and impact for EMEA at Patagonia, and Sheila Martinez joined Argyle Haus of Apparel as vice president of operations, reflecting a broader talent reshuffle across the industry.
