FDX•FedEx will invest $54 million to expand its Duiven, Netherlands truck hub by 65 dock doors to 265 spaces and boost palletized freight capacity by over 50%, supporting its integrated truck-fly-truck air cargo model. It also spun off FedEx Freight, distributing 80.1% of shares to holders and keeping 19.9%.

FedEx is investing $54 million to acquire and develop a facility next to its Duiven, Netherlands truck terminal, adding 65 dock doors to reach 265 and boosting palletized freight capacity by over 50%. This expansion supports its integrated truck-fly-truck delivery model, linking European road and deferred-premium air freight operations.
2. FedEx Freight Spin-Off Details
FedEx completed the spin-off of its freight division by distributing 80.1% of FedEx Freight shares to existing FedEx shareholders at a ratio of one freight share per two FedEx shares. The new FedEx Freight (FDXF) began trading on the NYSE while FedEx retains a 19.9% stake to be divested within 24 months, enabling each company to pursue focused growth strategies.
