First Breach completed the first untethered flight of its proprietary drone prototype, validating core airframe and propulsion performance in free flight.
The test used commercial flight electronics while the in-house flight controller advanced under a strategic agreement with Hellbender. The controller board is now running Betaflight firmware, establishing a baseline ahead of integration into the aircraft for combined testing.
Initial prototypes remain targeted for Q4 2026, with production scaling planned for Q2 2027, subject to testing and manufacturing readiness.
Current proof-of-concept specs include a 2.2 kg quadcopter, 500 g payload, 2 km range, 10-minute endurance, and 50 km/h cruise.
