First Breach expands Hagerstown ammunition plant to 12-hour shifts, seven days a week
FBDT•First Breach shifted its Hagerstown, Maryland, ammunition plant to 12-hour operations seven days a week, increasing scheduled manufacturing hours to 84 per week from 40.
1. More manufacturing hours
The shift expansion raises near-term capacity without adding facilities. First Breach said it is the first phase of a plan to reach continuous 24-hour production through two 12-hour shifts. The additional operating time supports demand tied to a three-year supply and distribution agreement with SAS Ammo.
