FSV•FirstService's Roofing Corp of America subsidiary has acquired Schefers Roofing, expanding its commercial roofing operations into the Kansas City market with the existing management retaining minority equity and operational control. Schefers, founded in 1995, serves Missouri, Northern Arkansas and surrounding regions, bolstering RCA's Midwest U.S. footprint.

Roofing Corp of America, a subsidiary of FirstService, completed the acquisition of Schefers Roofing. Transaction terms were not disclosed, and the purchase includes all assets of the Kansas City-based commercial roofing contractor.
2. Management and Operations
Schefers Roofing's existing management team retains a minority equity interest and continues to oversee daily operations. The team brings expertise in installation, restoration, preventative maintenance and leak repair services.
3. Strategic Expansion
The acquisition extends RCA's presence into Missouri, Northern Arkansas and the surrounding Midwest regions. This move positions RCA to capitalize on growth opportunities in the Kansas City commercial roofing market.
