Foresight Demonstrates 3D Perception on VARAN; VisionWave to Invest $17.5M for 52% Stake
FRSX•Foresight will integrate its stereo vision, thermal imaging and neuromorphic 3D perception systems into VisionWave’s VARAN autonomous platform at Eurosatory 2026, demonstrating multi-spectral object detection, depth mapping and navigation in GPS-denied environments. VisionWave will invest up to $17.5 million for a controlling 52% stake in Foresight, subject to approvals.
1. Eurosatory 2026 Showcase
Foresight is presenting its stereo vision, thermal imaging and neuromorphic sensing modules integrated into VisionWave’s VARAN autonomous ground platform at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris. The live demonstration features real-time multi-spectral object detection, 3D depth mapping and navigation capabilities designed for contested, GPS-denied environments.
2. Strategic Investment and Ownership
Under the strategic collaboration, VisionWave will invest up to $17.5 million in exchange for a controlling 52% equity stake in Foresight, with the transaction subject to regulatory, stock-exchange and shareholder approvals. Both companies will continue independent public operations following the closing conditions.
3. Defense and Commercial Implications
The partnership leverages Foresight’s automotive-grade sensing heritage to accelerate defense-grade autonomy solutions for counter-UAS, force protection and critical infrastructure security. Successful integration on the VARAN platform could open new revenue streams in expeditionary autonomy and border security markets.
