Foresight has entered into a proof-of-concept agreement with a leading European car manufacturer to validate its stereo vision AI solution for off-road driving scenarios, marking the company's first collaboration with a top-tier automaker on off-road applications.
2. System Capabilities and Demonstrations
The POC system will be installed on the automaker’s vehicle platform to deliver real-time surroundings analysis, assess off-road passability based on vehicle parameters, and visually highlight safe versus unsafe areas across user-selected field types during both daylight and low-light conditions.
3. Future Joint Development Phase
Following successful POC validation, the parties intend to launch a joint development agreement for phase two, which will introduce automatic AI-based field classification, localized sub-region evaluation, a three-level classification output and enhanced robustness across varied environments.
