1. Deal expands software management
Freshworks agreed to acquire Torii to extend Freshservice into software management and AI spend governance. The combined system aims to unify application inventory, license usage, identities, costs and AI consumption; Torii tracks AI usage at the token level and supports team-level spend attribution, forecasting, chargebacks, limits and spike detection.
2. Expected closing
The transaction is expected to close in Freshworks’ fourth fiscal quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
