Fury Gold Mines Appoints 40-Year Mining Veteran as VP Project Development
Fury Gold Mines has named Mario Courchesne as Vice President, Project Development to lead the Eau Claire project from exploration through feasibility study and into construction with over 40 years of industry experience. Senior Vice President, Exploration Bryan Atkinson will resign April 30 and serve as adviser.
1. Appointment of Mario Courchesne
Fury Gold Mines has appointed Mario Courchesne as Vice President, Project Development effective immediately. Courchesne brings over 40 years of engineering and process development experience, including feasibility studies, construction and operations, and will lead the advancement of the Eau Claire project through pre-feasibility, feasibility and into construction phases.
2. Exploration Leadership Transition
Senior Vice President, Exploration Bryan Atkinson will resign April 30 and transition to an advisory role to support continuity. The company’s ongoing drill program at Eau Claire will continue under Senior Geologist Valerie Doyon’s guidance while the technical team integrates Courchesne’s strategic oversight.
