Gevo sells 10,000 carbon removal credits via ClimeFi
GEVO•Gevo completed the sale and delivery of 10,000 carbon dioxide removal credits via ClimeFi to an unnamed corporate buyer. The credits were generated at Gevo North Dakota, where the project has generated more than 700,000 tons of carbon dioxide removal since carbon capture began.

Gevo completed the sale and delivery of 10,000 carbon dioxide removal credits via ClimeFi to an unnamed corporate buyer. The credits came from Gevo North Dakota, where biogenic carbon dioxide from ethanol production is captured and permanently stored through geologic sequestration.
2. Project output
Since carbon capture began at the site, the project has generated more than 700,000 tons of carbon dioxide removal.
