Google Commits to Future Intel Xeon Chips and $7B AI Data Center Lease

Google has signed a multiyear agreement to adopt next-generation Intel Xeon processors and customize Intel’s infrastructure processing units for networking, security, and storage in its data centers. Alphabet secured a 15-year, $7 billion AI data center lease at Hut 8’s River Bend campus to expand its AI compute capacity.
