Group 1 Automotive has rebranded its southwest Houston Lexus dealership (formerly Sterling McCall Lexus) on November 3, 2025 and its Toyota location on January 5, 2026 under the unified Group 1 brand. These two rebrands support Group 1’s nationwide naming alignment across over 250 U.S. and U.K. franchises.
As part of its ongoing effort to unify its network of over 250 automotive dealerships and 37 brands across the U.S. and U.K., Group 1 Automotive has rolled out a standardized naming convention to strengthen brand recognition, operational consistency, and customer experience across its retail network.
On November 3, 2025, the former Sterling McCall Lexus in southwest Houston officially became Lexus Southwest Houston under the Group 1 brand. The rebrand maintained existing ownership, staffing, product offerings, and services, while aligning signage, digital presence, and operational standards with Group 1’s national platform.
On January 5, 2026, the former Sterling McCall Toyota in southwest Houston transitioned to Group 1 Toyota Southwest Houston, preserving its local team, Toyota expertise, and service operations. The renaming formalized the dealership’s connection to Group 1 Automotive’s scale, resources, and technology, aiming to deliver a consistent customer journey.
