GSI Technology secured a multi-million-dollar government-funded proof-of-concept (POC) partnership with G2 Tech to develop Sentinel, an autonomous perimeter security system integrating drones and cameras. Backed by the U.S. Department of War and a foreign government agency, GSI expects to receive approximately $1 million for software optimization and platform integration of its Gemini-II Associative Processing Unit. The POC will leverage compute-in-memory architecture to deliver on-device AI inference and real-time responsiveness in constrained tactical environments, supporting autonomous operation with human oversight across mission-critical unmanned systems.
