Haas to decide 2027 driver line-up within couple of weeks
Haas will decide its 2027 Formula One driver line-up within the next couple of weeks, team boss Ayao Komatsu said. Esteban Ocon remains an option, alongside Rafael Camara, Leonardo Fornaroli, Ryo Hirakawa and Jack Doohan.
1. Decision expected soon
Haas is evaluating drivers and plans to finalise its 2027 line-up within the next couple of weeks, Ayao Komatsu said ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. “We haven’t made any decision yet,” he said.
2. Candidates under review
Komatsu said Rafael Camara, Leonardo Fornaroli, Ryo Hirakawa and current reserve Jack Doohan are options. Haas has run them in private tests in older cars. Asked whether retaining Esteban Ocon remained possible, Komatsu said: “Yes. Like I said, we haven’t made any decisions yet.”
