The firm’s private wealth initiative manages $16 billion across 11 funds and targets growing private markets demand among individual investors.

1. Leadership Appointment

Hamilton Lane has named Mika Tashiro as Head of Private Wealth Solutions in Japan. In this newly created role, Tashiro will lead the firm’s strategy for individual investors, strengthen ties with top wealth managers and deliver Hamilton Lane’s open-ended private markets offerings to a broader investor base.

2. Global Evergreen Platform

The firm’s global evergreen platform, launched in 2019, now consists of 11 funds with $16 billion in assets under management. Tashiro will work alongside the global Private Wealth Solutions team to promote these strategies and expand semi-liquid solutions like the 2025 Asia Private Assets Fund in the Japanese market.

Active in Japan since 1999 with a Tokyo office established in 2008, Hamilton Lane views the country as a key private markets growth region.
