HSBC Holdings plc expanded its US push into affluent banking with an enhanced Premier offering spanning wealth, health, travel and international services.
New investing tools in the mobile app
The US mobile app gained new investing tools, including self-directed brokerage account opening, portfolio views and real-time mutual fund trading.
Additional benefits and US wealth strategy
The offer added telemedicine access, travel rewards benefits, competitive FX rates, fee-free international transfers and pre-arrival account opening for US movers.
The strategy targets the US as a key global wealth corridor, supported by a network of 21 US Wealth Centers. The New York Park Avenue Wealth Center was relaunched earlier this year, and the Cupertino, California site is set for relaunch this month.
