Immutep's IMP761 significantly suppresses T-cell immune responses in Phase I trial
IMMP•Immutep reported that a single infusion of IMP761 significantly suppressed T-cell-driven immune responses in healthy volunteers. The drug was well tolerated across seven dose levels, and multiple-dose results are expected in the first half of 2027.
1. Phase I results
Immutep reported positive Phase I results for IMP761, presented in a late-breaking abstract at ACR Convergence 2026. A single infusion significantly suppressed T-cell-driven immune responses in healthy volunteers, with stronger effects at higher exposure. The drug was well tolerated across all seven dose levels, with no serious or severe adverse events reported.
2. Further study
The drug’s pharmacokinetic profile supports dosing every four weeks, and the ongoing multiple-dose study has shown no new safety signals. Multiple-dose results are expected in the first half of 2027 to guide dose selection for a potential Phase II program.
