1. ISG Initiates Major Insurance Services Ecosystem Study
Information Services Group (ISG) has launched a comprehensive research study examining the service provider ecosystem that supports global insurance operations. The study canvassed more than 120 firms offering consulting, IT outsourcing, business process outsourcing and life & retirement services. ISG’s research team, in collaboration with its global advisors, will assess provider capabilities across five distinct ISG Provider Lens® reports, evaluating digital delivery, automation, cost reduction and scalability. Survey data and advisor insights will underpin detailed vendor rankings structured in one or more quadrants per report.
2. Five Reports Slated for June 2026 Publication
The study findings will be released in June 2026 in three global reports—Insurance Consulting Services, Insurance ITO Services and P&C Insurance BPO Services—and two regional reports covering Life & Retirement Insurance Services for North America and Europe. Each report will feature quadrant analyses: consulting advisory models; multi-service IT outsourcing; property & casualty BPO with AI-driven automation; and life & retirement BPO and TPA services. ISG analysts Ashish Jhajharia and Sandhya Hari Navage will author the insurance reports, offering enterprise buyers data-driven comparisons of over 120 service providers.
3. Implications for Investors and Enterprise Buyers
ISG’s study arrives as insurers prioritize rapid scaling, operational resilience and digital transformation. By quantifying provider performance in delivery quality, cost optimization and platform innovation, the reports will guide CFOs and procurement teams in vendor selection and contract negotiations. ISG advisors will leverage these insights to recommend high-impact partnerships to more than 900 clients, including 75 of the world’s top 100 enterprises. Investors can anticipate enhanced transparency in ISG’s pipeline of advisory engagements, which supported record revenue growth of 18% in the latest fiscal year.
