Itaú Unibanco released a transcript of its 2Q26 earnings video conference attended by analysts and investors; the CEO led the presentation.
- Recurring net income reached BRL 12.4 billion; ROE was 24.3% consolidated, 25.7% in Brazil.
- The loan book rose to BRL 1.522 trillion, up 2.7% quarter-on-quarter.
- Net interest income with clients climbed to BRL 32.6 billion, up 3.3%.
- Guidance was held for loans, NII, credit costs and expenses; the fee and insurance growth outlook was cut to 2%–5% from 5%–9%.
- Management flagged SME delinquency as a grace-period mechanical effect, forecasting NPL over 90 days to rise about 10 bps next quarter to around 2.1%.
