Jacobs won a contract from Great British Energy – Nuclear to provide planning and consenting services for proposed UK small modular reactor projects.

Initial work targets new nuclear development at Gwyndod (formerly Wylfa Newydd) and Oldbury-on-Severn, with potential scope expansion to additional sites.

The mandate covers strategic planning support for Development Consent Order and Town and Country Planning Act applications, delivered with planning subconsultant Quod.
