Jade Biosciences to start Phase 1 trial of dermatomyositis drug candidate JADE301 in Q4 2026

Jade Biosciences plans to start a placebo-controlled Phase 1 trial of JADE301 in 24 healthy volunteers in Q4 2026. Interim data are expected in the second half of 2027.

1. Preclinical results

Jade Biosciences presented preclinical results for JADE301, an anti-IFN-β antibody candidate for dermatomyositis, at the 2026 EADV Congress. The company reported strong target selectivity, robust pathway suppression, extended durability and tolerability in animal studies, supporting infrequent subcutaneous dosing.

2. Trial timeline

The placebo-controlled Phase 1 single ascending-dose trial is slated to begin in Q4 2026 and enroll 24 healthy volunteers. Interim data are expected in the second half of 2027.
