Jaguar Uranium reports maiden resource estimate for Laguna Salada project
JAGU•Jaguar Uranium reported 21.1 million tonnes of indicated resources and 34 million tonnes of inferred resources at its Laguna Salada uranium-vanadium project in Argentina. The report recommends an immediate $1.93 million exploration program and states that the project has no mineral reserves.
1. Resource estimate
The maiden estimate, effective October 5, 2026, lists indicated resources containing 1,900 tonnes of uranium oxide and 14,100 tonnes of vanadium pentoxide. Inferred resources contain 4,600 tonnes of uranium oxide and 26,000 tonnes of vanadium pentoxide.
2. Cutoff and exploration
The estimate uses a $12.08-per-tonne net smelter return cutoff based on uranium prices of $84 per pound. The report recommends a $1.93 million immediate exploration program; the project has no mineral reserves.
