2. Sensormatic Solutions Expands TrueVUE Cloud with PaaS Option

Sensormatic Solutions, Johnson Controls’ retail technology division, has introduced a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) option for its TrueVUE Cloud inventory intelligence platform, set to launch in March 2026. Building on the existing SaaS offering, the PaaS model leverages RFID, point-of-sale and manufacturing data through a decoupled, RESTful API framework, enabling retailers to integrate TrueVUE capabilities into their own cloud infrastructures. Claims include up to 99% inventory accuracy through rapid cycle counts and real-time analytics that reduce out-of-stocks and markdowns. The PaaS suite features a comprehensive API library, monitoring dashboard, SDKs and ISV support, and will be showcased at the NRF Big Show in New York (Jan. 11–13) at booth #5321. Investors will monitor adoption rates in global retail accounts and the potential contribution to Johnson Controls’ digital solutions revenue stream.
