JPMorgan Pilots Digital Footprint Tool to Track Banker Hours and Launches Athlete Council Chaired by Dwyane Wade
JPMorgan piloted a tool tracking employees’ digital footprints—video calls, keystrokes and meetings—to estimate weekly work hours versus timesheet reports, with plans to expand across its investment banking division. The bank also set up an Athlete Council chaired by Dwyane Wade with Tom Brady and Megan Rapinoe to advise on tailored financial education.
1. Digital Tracking Pilot for Banker Hours
JPMorgan has introduced a pilot program that analyzes employees’ digital footprints—video calls, keystrokes and scheduled meetings—to generate estimates of actual weekly work hours. These estimates are compared against timesheet entries and shared with junior bankers on a regular basis, aiming to raise awareness of workload and improve dialogue before a broader rollout across the investment banking division.
2. Formation of Athlete Financial Advisory Council
The bank established an Athlete Council chaired by Dwyane Wade and including sports figures such as Tom Brady and Megan Rapinoe to identify financial challenges unique to athletes. In conjunction with setting up an Athlete Center of Excellence, the council will guide customized financial education and host outreach programs at universities and sporting events for current and former professionals.
