Jumia expands management board to five members with three appointments
JMIA•Jumia appointed three management board members on October 17, 2026, expanding the board to five effective October 19. Francis Dufay was named board chair, also effective October 19.
1. Board appointments
Pedro Fangueiro, Renaud Glenisson and Hesham El Gabry were appointed to Jumia’s management board on October 17, 2026, bringing it to five members effective October 19. Fangueiro joined Jumia in 2021 and serves as chief group technology and information security officer; Glenisson joined in 2015 and has been regional CEO since December 2023; and El Gabry joined in 2021 and serves as group chief commercial officer, after previously leading operations in Egypt. Francis Dufay was named management board chair effective October 19.
