1. Repairs completed
Kinder Morgan's Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. said it completed repairs to a pipeline in Texas and resolved a force majeure event at the Rio Bravo and Cenagas delivery meters between Texas and Mexico on Wednesday. The company declared force majeure on October 6 after finding a problem during planned maintenance and inspections; it told customers the area was returning to normal operations.
2. Gas supply reduction
Cuitlahuac Garcia, director general of Mexico's state-owned gas company CENAGAS, reported that the U.S. temporarily reduced its usual gas supply to Mexico by one-fifth. He said Mexico handled the reduction without issues, but did not specify the causes of what he described as a “critical situation” in the U.S.
