This contract builds on KULR’s Artemis and Exolaunch heritage as the global space battery market is projected to reach $5.61 billion by 2030.

1. Argo Space selects KULR as battery provider

KULR will supply its KULR ONE Space (K1S) battery systems engineered to NASA WI-37A safety protocols for Argo’s upcoming orbital transport mission, powering critical subsystems throughout the spacecraft’s operational lifetime.

2. Strengthening space heritage

This agreement extends KULR’s credentials from NASA Artemis crewed flights and a rideshare mission with Exolaunch, reinforcing its reputation in supplying certifiable high-power lithium battery systems for demanding space environments.

3. Manufacturing and market opportunity

KULR’s Webster, Texas facility will handle production and qualification testing for the Argo systems, positioning the company to capitalize on the global space battery market projected to reach $5.61 billion by 2030.
