Linde doubled its on-site industrial gas capacity for Tata Steel at Kalinganagar in Odisha, India, under a long-term supply agreement. Two newly acquired air separation units supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon for the steelmaker’s operations. The expansion supports an increase in annual steel production at the site from 3 million tons to 8 million tons; total regional oxygen capacity now exceeds 7,000 tons daily.
